Defying Providence

A digital and much more thorough verision of a peice I gave Scott Westerfeld when he came to my town for a book signing. The one I gave him I sketched in pencil on a blue post it while waiting in line to get Goliath signed.

Here be Deryn, chillaxin on the Leviathan, watching the sunrise... or something. Also: This is the first time I've drawn Deryn in her parka!

I really loved Goliath and when my schedule frees up, I'll be depicting EVERY. SINGLE. SCENE.
