I think I'm crying. This was such an exhausting project, but I swear to God, I LOVE IT! I don't think I've ever been able to imagine something and draw it exactly how I picture it like this before. Even though this is an entry for a contest, I worked long, sweaty, bloody hours to do the absolute best I possibly could.
I'm just so proud of myself.

*wipes tear*

Okay, so this is Daine and Numair for the :icontamora-pierce-fans: romance contest. For the contest, artists have to depict/write their favorite romantic scene or make one up. This scene is from The Realms of the Gods, book 4 of The Immortals when, in Chapter 7, Numair saves Daine from the Spidren and they realize they are madly in love with each other.

Okay so I already commented on this once but I was just staring at it again (because it's that awesome) and I wanted to say that the background is SO COOL. I love it. Also, her shirt and left hand look phenomenal.

Thanks. I had a lot of trouble with the pose actually. I had a few other possible poses sketched out, but in the end I wanted this really intimate one.
