First Confrontation

A sketch from may depicting Alek and Deryn's first confrontation after Deryn reveals her big secret.

I can never imagine the two of them makingout right after Deryn reveals herself (though I'm still a fan of any interpretation ). It would probably go down like this- Deryn tells him([link]), Alek ignores her, then Alek gets all douchy about it to her and then this [link] Then they're biffles again and maybe some romance. But then this([link])

I tried redrawing this to be cleaner, but I can never get the poses right. If you flipped this upside down, it's the ugliest thing ever... so don't...

ALSO: I also believe Deryn would never tell Alek her name until she was officially "out of the closet." She knows he woud go blabbing her name around Japan and America and give her away. No... She'd tell him she was a girl, because he deserves it- but not her name, because he's a little dull.
