First gif, and it's pretty FULL OF WIN if I do say so myself

"I should reveal you for the satanic piece you are!" Volger threatened waving a deadly finger in rage. "You're an unnatural being, placing your feet where they don't belong. I have half a mind to go to the Captain this instant."

Deryn held her ground stubbornly as Volger accused her and glared dead on into his eyes, "I've been nothing but a vital character in your survival. Without me, we wouldn't have made it past Japan. Your threats are empty and I'm not threatened by them. The Leviathan has landed for the last time and you can be on your way back to your country."

He seethed at her words and held her gaze. Alek had been walking aways behind them and when he finally reached them, he paused and flicked his eyes back and forth between the final showdown between his friend and his teacher. He tried to decide whether or not to intervene but before he could make up his mind, Volger broke the silence.

"Ah, Your Highness," He said, a smug glint in his eyes. Deryn's eyes narrowed, trying to figure his next move. "I'm afraid I have some terrible news for you. We- and all of the Leviathan have been mortally deceived."

"Er, how's that?" He bit his lip, guessing what was coming next.

"This crewman of the Leviathan is not who we believe him to be- or should I say SHE," Alek winced but Deryn didn't move. "She has impersonated a crewman for our entire voyage. Her friendship with you was a lie. I can't imagine the trickery she has since forth deceived you with. It must be quite the shock." Instead of offering a pitiful glance to Alek, Volger smirked at Deryn. "So much for empty threats now?"

Before Deryn could respond, Alek rubbed the back of his neck, "Actually, Count, the funny thing is- um... Well, I already knew Dylan was a girl..."

"You- you what?"

"Ya, she told me in Japan, so... I've kind of known for a month or so now...."

"You knew! You told him?" He redirected his attention to Deryn.

Now she wore the smug grin, "Aye, draft, isn't it?"

I love Alek and Deryn. Even though Alek is a little dull sometimes, I think the two of them could pull a lot of stunts and make Volger look like a schmuck.

This took so long for some reason. I've been coming back to the rough sketch of this for about a month and just got around to coloring it this weekend. Must have been because I PREORDERED GOLIATH LAST NIGHT! I'm so siked for September. I'm going to read it in one night. *checks* Dang, it comes out on a Tuesday- WHY?!
